Perimeter Dog Patrols
A trained security dog and its handler on foot along your boundary, gates and yard, on routes agreed with you.
Most break-ins start at the edge of a site: a weak fence panel, a gate left on the latch, a dark corner behind the units. A perimeter dog patrol puts a handler and a working dog on that edge, on foot, through the hours your site is most exposed.
A handler and security dog based on your site for the full shift, keeping watch and patrolling at set intervals.
Some sites need someone there all night, not a visit. An on-site dog handler stays on your premises for the whole shift, usually based at the gate or a site cabin, and walks the site at agreed intervals with the dog.
Dog-and-handler cover for the hours your site is empty: nights, weekends, bank holidays and shutdowns.
Sites are most at risk when everyone has gone home. Long weekends, bank holidays and the Christmas shutdown leave yards and buildings empty for days at a time, and people who steal from sites know it.
Temporary dog-and-handler cover when something has gone wrong and the site can't be left as it is.
A break-in, a cut fence, a broken shutter or an alarm that won't set can leave a site open overnight. Repairs take time, and the people who got in once may come back.
Every dog works with its own handler. They train together, travel together and work together on site.

01What is a security dog patrol?
A trained security dog and its handler walk your site on foot, on routes agreed with you, checking the boundary, gates and buildings. The dog detects people the handler can't see, and the team is a strong deterrent.
02Are the dogs safe around people?
Our dogs work on lead and under the handler's control at all times. Routes and procedures are agreed with you to keep the dog team safe around staff, visitors and the public.
03When is a dog team the right choice?
Dog teams suit large, dark or cluttered sites, empty buildings, and sites with a history of break-ins, where a person alone or cameras alone leave gaps.
04Can you work alongside our alarm, CCTV or guards?
Yes. We provide dog-and-handler security only, but we often work alongside other systems. We agree with you who does what.
05How are the dogs looked after?
Dogs get rest breaks and water through every shift, travel in ventilated transport, have a safe rest area on site and are rotated so no dog is overworked.
06Do you need a long contract?
Not necessarily. Tell us what you need, whether that's a few nights, a holiday period or ongoing cover, and we'll agree terms before we start.
